The University of Milan is internationally highly ranked. The teaching staff includes 2.200 tenured professors. More than 60.000 students are currently attending the University of Milan courses. The broad range of subjects taught consists presently of 79 Undergraduate programmes, 57 Master programmes, 9 Single-cycle programmes, 33 Doctoral programmes, and several Advanced Vocational programmes. Research activities are conducted in 31 Departments and 29 Inter-departmental Research Centres.
UMIL participates in MEDGOAT with the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences, which will provide its expertise in animal diseases, addressing the immunology, pathology, parasitology, and welfare issues related to the proposal.
