The event was co-organized by the two institutions together with the project coordinator, Latifa Najar (INSERM, France). The program included several presentations on the current status of the goat farming system in Tunisia and ongoing research activities carried out by the Laboratory of Animal and Forage Production at INRAT. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:42px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:42px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Latifa Najar provided an overview of the entire MEDGOAT project, followed by a presentation of the socio-economic studies to be conducted in Tunisia by INRAE (Dr Jean Joseph Minviel), leader of WP4, and updates on the ongoing results of WP3 presented by Dr Hanen Fallah from the Laboratory of Aromatic and Medicinal Plants (LPAM, Borj Cedria, Tunisia).
