Ibn Tofaïl University, located in the heart of the Maâmora forest, is a multidisciplinary university (Arts and Humanities, Law, Economics, Management, Literature and Languages, Chemistry, Science and Technology, Business and Engineering School, etc.). Since October 23, 1989, it has registered its training and research mission by Dahir 1.89.144 of 22 Rabiae 1 er 1410. Located on 8 hectares, the UIT today supports more than 85,000 students within a compact campus composed of 11 establishments in order to train curious, reflective students who will become professionals and active and responsible citizens, attentive to the environmental, social, and ethical consequences of their actions and decisions. The University is distinguished by the richness of its cultural and educational offerings through a modern infrastructure, namely a University Theatre with nearly 300 seats and a student cultural passport giving access to several national and international cultural structures covering the five continents. The University also plays a significant role in the mobility of students, research professors, doctoral students, etc., through its partnerships with prestigious universities and its training programs abroad. In view of its potential, being the only public campus collected on a national scale, it tends to convey its image through its ranking by The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023

Role in The project

UIT will evaluate, through clinical studies, the impact of goat product consumption on metabolic syndrome, enabling new avenues regarding the promotion of beneficial health effects of goat products against chronic diseases in Morocco
